2022 The Year In Review

Well ladies and gentlemen it's that time of year again. Where we reflect on the past and make plans to begin anew. I've been told that to know where you're truly heading in life you must first understand from which you came. This year was no different than any other when it comes to fundamental principles and achieving your goals.

There were a lot of highs and lows, ups and downs.

For the first time in nearly two years the Covid-19 pandemic slowly eased and we were able to get some sort of normalcy. People were able to do the one thing that they were intended to and that is be around each other. Cops were still killing innocent citizens but at least now they were being convicted of these heinous acts. This was definitely a small step in the right direction. Somehow we still managed to go from one nincompoop president to the next. He and the Vice President swore they had an agenda to help the black population and decrease the wealth gap. It's yet to be seen and honestly so has she. I'm just saying!

Although the country is showing small signs of progress we still have a long way to go.

Russia and Ukraine engaged in war. This had the masses scared as they believed it could cause WWIII. In turn our government sent money for aid and relief efforts costing us billions of dollars. The results of this pushed inflation to an all time high and subsequently gas prices skyrocketed. I've always wondered how we give billions of dollars to other countries when we have poor and disenfranchised people here but that's a different blog for a different day.

The CIA released documents stating that aliens do exist.

This is something that I have always believed since I was a kid but man are the conspiracy theorists going to have fun with this. All I know is that if this is true they are way smarter than we are. Since they've made it here but we've never made it to them.

Last but not least Kanye found a way to piss off all of America. He uttered some of the most ridiculous statements ever supporting Hitler and other dumb ideologies. This ultimately cost him hundreds of millions to billions of dollars. If he wanted to get rid of his money he should've just given it as reparations to black people since he said "slavery was a choice." Donald Trump and Kanye West are proof that you don't have to be born a donkey to be a jackass

I would also like to say rest in peace to Betty White who passed away this year at age 99. And a special shoutout to Marla Gibbs who is 91 and still acting. Two true American treasures

Goodbye 2022 hello 2023!!!!
