At this moment in time we're faced with a pressing dilemma: mankind is in the midst of a global pandemic. One so significant that every fiber of existence is being tested. With over six hundred sixty-five thousand deaths in America and a total of 4.5 million worldwide the fear and pandemonium is at an all time high.
What is one to do when they're fighting against an enemy they can't see, feel, or hear.
Everytime you turn on the TV the news is disparaging and disheartening. In the past two years America has been shut down, quarantined and simply reduced to a shell of her former self. The very government that is meant to protect us has no idea or clue of how to do so. They're rushing to get vaccines done that haven't even cleared the clinical trial stages.
Yet they wonder why people are skeptical to take them.
To me it feels like we're living in the real life tv show The Walking Dead. Honestly, I'm not here to argue about who's vaccinated or not.
Truth be told, I could care less. I believe everyone has the freedom and choice to live their lives in their best interest. If you've taken the shot, cool if you haven't still cool. What we must not do is fall for the trick of the enemy which causes us to point the finger at each other therefore allowing the real problem "fear" to wreak havoc.
It's ok that some people trust Dr. Fauci but it's also ok that others trust God!
We can't let this disease become a new Civil War, putting a divide between us at a time when we need each other the most. Trust me COVID-19 is a deadly virus that should be taken seriously but what we can't allow it to do is take away our ability to be rational thinking human beings.
So often I see celebrities doing commercials and ads promoting vaccines and that's fine. But when these same celebrities speak on issues of social injustices they're told to be quiet!
So now the country has a vested interest in the well being of black and brown communities?
It takes less time to pass legislation to stop police brutality than it does to make a vaccine but hey that's another story for a different day.
I remember Steve Harvey having a meeting with Donald Trump and people from all walks of life ridiculed him. Why is he meeting with the president? He's not a politician, he should leave that up to people with that expertise. Now they want him to be a vaccine advocate? Why he's not a scientist or doctor either but when the narrative is helpful to their cause his advice is warranted.
Please don't be naive, do your part by taking things to boost your immune system, by social distancing and wearing a mask. Just don't feel threatened or pressured by others because you choose not to take the vaccine.
"It's not the job of the unvaccinated to keep the vaccinated people safe that's the vaccine's job."

No, I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I don't think if you take the shot you're going to turn into a mutant or be able to sprout wings out of your back. What I do know is for every action there's a reaction. And in these times of distress and uncertainty I just urge people to move wisely and use discernment.
People have the right to agree or disagree but we don't have the right to bully or enforce our thoughts and beliefs either way. I'm sure there are just as many healthy unvaccinated people as there are healthy vaccinated ones but somehow those statistics never get relayed.
One thing that I know for sure is where there is sunshine and flowers God is present. Where there's fruit with no seeds scientists are involved. So one is creating, while the other is imitating. I'll let you be the judge of who's who. I just know I'm rolling with the sunshine.
I send out my deep and sincere condolences to all those who have been affected and even lost loved ones to this deadly virus!
God blesses and then he blesses some more.
